William Saville a Victorian Murder
Mick and Dave did research on William Saville from the Nottingham Archives and then spent several months going over facts and material to this tragic event. The performance covers a nine Year Period from 1835 and hold a mirror up to Victorian Nottingham of Narrow Marsh and Snienton. Mick and Dave takes you on a journey each having perspective on events as the unfold to a point where William Saville murders Ann Saville and their three children at Colwick Woods . The subsequent capture trail and hanging on the steps of the Shire Hall.
The tragedy that happened as the large crowd surged to escape and in so doing some died and many were injured.
